We like to kick NEGU up a notch and create extra cool opportunities of encouragement and JOY for kids with cancer. The Jessie Rees Foundation’s NEGU Adventures are “one of a kind” adventures designed to give courageous kids with cancer an opportunity to put treatments aside for a while for a special experience and lots of fun with their families. 
During Jessie’s fight with cancer, she was invited to attend a taping of American Idol. Escorted in a limousine, Jessie and her family visited the Idol contestants backstage and enjoyed the show while she cheered on her favorite contestants! Knowing how much this experience meant to Jessie during her own treatment, the Jessie Rees Foundation will continue to offer these exciting, memorable moments for kids fighting cancer.
We are so thankful to help Courageous Kids extra cool opportunities to encourage them to Never Ever Give Up. Recently, Katherine the Brave went on her NEGU Adventure. She got to visit visit the World Famous San Diego Zoo and Legoland with her family!
Katherine’s mom said, “Thank you to the Jesse Rees organization for treating us to the most special weekend ever. Katie smiled the entire day, and made memories to last a lifetime….Katie had the best day today at LegoLand thanks to the Jesse Rees organization. We had more fun today than we have had in a long time. The NEGU team bought her Legos, ice cream, face painting, you name it… she did it. This kid enjoyed every inch of that place. Thank you so very much!”
