My Jessie Journal:: Hi Sweet Pea…It’s daddy=). I sure wish you could write to me and tell me how your week has been. Some people tell me you don’t even see my weekly notes to you…I choose to believe you do. I could be wrong but it’s my choice and it helps me…so I believe. Someday when I get to Heaven I know you will greet me and show me your room and all of my letters to you. That will be a great day…reunited!!!

One thing we have been working on is the development of a global distribution network for your JoyJars. I’m so excited that we will have a way to reach thousands of more courageous kids and help them smile. You wanted every child fighting cancer to get one of your JoyJars so we will be that much closer to reaching your goal. Not sure how we will stuff 300,000 JoyJars so we can get one to every child diagnosed each year…but for now we will have a way to reach more kids globally with hope, joy and love.

Talking about reaching more kids…have you seen what Shaya and Cory have been doing on their East Coast Joy Tour? By the time it ends on Sunday they will have delivered JoyJars to 5 children’s hospitals, went to a NEGU Crew event with the New England Revolution, stuffed 500 JoyJars with George Washington University Athletic department and hosted a booth with Diana at the Child Life Conference. WOW! I’ve been praying for their energy and safety everyday. So proud of our team and all the amazing volunteers that help us across the US.

I was looking back at photos from May 2011 and that was the month CBS started following your story and came to the house to interview you. That was so hard to watch as mommy and I couldn’t be in the same room with you. Then you started to cry so we rushed to your side. That video still gets shown and has been seen by hundreds of thousands of people. I thought instead of posting a picture today I would post that first TV news story. Time to get the Kleenex.

Miss you tons…love you way more…see you in a wink! Promise!!!

xoxo,

daddy
