WHAT IS THE HOUSE OF HOPE!

The House of Hope is a single-family home in La Quinta, CA built by the Jessie Rees Foundation. The House of Hope is designed to welcome families with children fighting cancer, Child Life Specialists, cancer caregivers, as well as couples and families who have lost their child to cancer as an opportunity for them to spend time making memories together and not think of the day to day of their cancer journey.

This new, 1,960 sf home offers an open space plan that features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a large loft. The home will host approximately 50 families a year. Over the next thirty years, the House of Hope would host 1,500 families.

Our goal is to create a fun and engaging space, so every family says “wow” as soon as they open the front door and visit each room. These families have been through so much and we truly want them to feel they are staying at a five-star villa designed perfectly for them! We are incredibly humbled and grateful for the generous hearts who helped make the House of Hope possible. From families to volunteers to Compassionate Companies, each donated and helped make this dream of ours a reality!

House of Hope Interest 

These mini vacations are for Courageous Families who live in California and have a child that has fought or is actively fighting cancer between 0-18 years of age.  Qualifying families will receive the opportunity to break away from the grind of treatment so they can be together, have fun and create new lasting memories.  Please fill out the form below to receive more information about staying at the House of Hope.
