THE CURIOUS CASE OF THE MISSING POCKET LINT cont…

We left off with the Buddies at the Flopolian Rock Gargen looking for Grif’s curious case of pocket lint…

Earlier that week, Grif told Cha-Cha that Barry’s flavorite berries, (fluzeberries), were available at the local flarm. She was excited and told Grif, she would find a case. So, she looked around Grif’s house and found the perfect container. After all, she needed something to put the fluzeberries in at the flarm. On the way from the flarm, with Barry’s berries, she ran into Flerp. No really. She ran into Flerp by accident. They both went rolling down the hill. Cha-Cha stood up laughing, dusted herself off and forgot all about the case…and the fluzeberries.

She happily turned to Flerp with a little giggle, “hey get rockin would ya?” Flerp took those words to heart and hurried his way to Flopolian Gardens.

To Flerp, “get rockin” is one of his flavorite hobbies … stacking rocks in a pile…or as he calls them stoney statues. As it turns out, Flerp had picked up the case and took it with him to Flopolian Gardens. He had no idea what was inside the curious case. But, he thought it would make a really fline rock bottom base for a super cool, super huge, stoney statue. He was so inspired, he ended up building flifteen stoney statues of all shapes and sizes. It’s hard to believe, but soon, Barry’s berries were buried beneath big boulders.

Now, the buddies were back together with Grif, staring at Flerp’s flabulous creations. At the same time, they were really discouraged. How would they ever find the curious case of Barry’s berries and Grif’s famous lint collection? The flun was beginning to set. It was getting really dark outside!

As they all stood together, discouraged, Cha-Cha reminded them, “Buddies, we’ve come this far, we can’t give up now!” Remember, we NEVER EVER GIVE UP!

And then it happened. Grif’s whiskers began to fliggle and his antler lit up like a lightning bolt. Cha-Cha blasted her powerful flunihorn and the super cool, super huge stoney statue came tumbling down. There it was. The curious case was glistening in the flunset and glowing like a fluorescent flower. It was Grif’s Curious Case of Lint, filled with Barry’s berries … and lint of course!

The Curious Case of the Missing Lint was solved and Barry’s berries were barely bruised in the process.  Once again, the NEGU Buddies came together, they encouraged each other to NEVER EVER GIVE UP and with happiness, JOY and miles of smiles they are ready for their next adventure!

THE CURIOUS CASE OF THE MISSING POCKET LINT

It was another Joyful day in Joyflopolis. The flun was out and there wasn’t a floud in the sky. Then all of a sudden, we heard a voice scream, at the bottom of their flungs, “Where’s my lint…I’ve lost my lint?” The not so distressed call was from Grif, the Greatest Pocket Lint Collector in Joyflopolis history. Grif called out to his buddies, “Cha- Cha, Flerp, Barry. Did someone lend my lint to Larry?” The buddies were puzzled, (especially Barry). “Who’s Larry”, they said in unison. “That’s not the point”, said Grif.

My Curious Case is missing from the flantle above my flireplace”. Everyone in Joyflopolis knew Grif was famous for floraging flantastic lint…in all kinds of colors, shapes and sizes. Barry immediately started building a plan. Using his imagination, Barry could construct a flousand different ways to find the Curious Case. Cha- Cha, always the positive one, gave Grif a huge hug and told him not to worry. She said they would find the Flantastic lint even if they had to look under every rock in Joyflopolis.

The minute Cha-Cha said the word rock, Flerp started rocking something flierce. Cha-Cha knew he was ready to get going and flast! Cha-Cha blasted a flanfare from her flabulous flunihorn and off they all went together. They were definitely on a lint hunt.

Cha-Cha danced her way down the street, clicking her flastanettes and singing as if she didn’t have a care in the world. Barry was running and flying, running and flying with his orange wings flapping and his four legs flailing about. Flerp was laughing and giggling and rockin and rollin. Down the sidewalks, around the corners, then past the flarm…and then it happened. He stopped at his flavorite place…The world flamous, Flopolian Rock Garden. Grif was still waddling as flast as he could go, whiskers on high alert and arms stretched out like a flangaroo.

There they were together, as always. They encircled a precious pile of beautiful multi-colored rocks. And then, just like magic, Grif’s strangely unique NEGU antler started to shimmer and glow… somehow he knew just what happened …
