Connor Wetmore, one of Jessie’s friends, recently hosted an amazing event and fundraiser in his local town--A Night of Joy! With the help of a wonderful local restaurant manager and members of his NEGU Club, Connor’s Night of Joy was a smashing success! Receiving donations of food and other items, Connor and his team were able to host a spaghetti dinner at their local Italian restaurant with all proceeds from the event going to the Jessie Rees Foundation! 80 people showed up to enjoy good food, lots of fun and to support an amazing cause.
Connor’s team raised over $1,300 at their first annual Night of Joy and are already making plans for their next event in 2014! Thank you Connor, and to your entire team of compassionate volunteers for supporting the Jessie Rees Foundation and all kids fighting cancer! We NEGU for you!
