BREAKING NEWS: UCLA Football has signed Courageous Kid Super Cade to the team!! The Bruins definitely got a fighter and a kid with an amazing heart. GO Cade, GO!!!
When Cade was just five years old, he underwent two surgeries to remove a benign tumor from his brain, but he suffered a stroke after the second surgery which left him paralyzed on his right side and pronounced him legally blind. But, Super Cade persevered, and in 2015 he practiced with the Bruins and scored a touchdown on a handoff from UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley.
That touchdown and his Never Ever Give Up attitude helped Cade earn a spot in this year’s recruiting class. This year, the 9-year-old took his official visit to UCLA and signed his letter of intent. Coming from a family of Bruin fans, this was a very special day for a strong young man!
