14-year-old KK knows just what it means to be a survivor. At 23-months post her diagnosis with Glioblastoma Multiforme, KK continues to kick cancers butt with her NEGU spirit.
KK continues has beat the odds and is an example to other kids of how to face cancer head on.
KK has had a few set backs with some late-effects of radiation, but she continues to take them all in stride with a smile on her face.
KK’s mom tells us, “she has always been so resilient. She lived in 11 different homes before we adopted each other when she was 6 years old. Her faith in God is amazing and her trust in me is humbling. She keeps me and her oncology team laughing with her one-liners — “If the MRI is really bad, I’m going to eat a burger” (she has been eating a vegan diet for the last 14 months) — and great outlook — “I’m not dead yet!”
