Volunteer Awards in Orange CountyThis is National Volunteer Week and this is our chance to give a special thank you and acknowledgement to some fantastic volunteers at the Jessie Rees Foundation! These extraordinary individuals are so important to us as they are the reason that we have been able to reach 50,000 children fighting cancer and why we can continue to fulfill Jessie’s wish of encouraging all kids fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up.

Today, we are so honored to introduce our amazingly talented graphics designer, Diana Mordin, as one of our 2012-2013 Volunteers of the Year! Diana has been a blessing to the foundation in so many ways and is the reason that everything we offer to children fighting cancer is JOYFUL in appearance. As a very talented freelance graphics designer, Diana has been donating her time and high level skills to the Jessie Rees Foundation for almost a year. In that time she has created over 1,000 graphic images for the foundation including images for awareness campaigns, fundraising events, NEGU kid introductions, JoyJar labels, brochures, comic books and so much more.

DianaDiana is also a dedicated advocate for pediatric cancer awareness as she takes countless opportunities to share Jessie’s story, dream and legacy of love with others in her community. Diana has a huge heart for helping children and has put smiles on the faces of thousands of children fighting cancer.

Diana, today is our chance to honor and recognize YOU as our Volunteer of the Year! Thank YOU for all that you do to help encourage kids fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up!
