Victoria was first diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in January 2015. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a type of sarcoma made up of cells that normally develop into skeletal (voluntary) muscles.

Victoria initially went through 6 weeks of radiation therapy, and about 10 months of chemotherapy. She was then cancer free and in remission for two years. Then, 5-year-old Victoria relapsed in June 2018 and is currently getting chemotherapy each week for about 11 months.

She has a very aggressive treatment, it knocks her down for days but she continues to smile. Her mom said that Victoria “seems to be stronger than the rest of the family. This is something no parent should ever witness their child go through. As a parent, I’ve never felt more helpless, so any support we can get means the world to us.”

When Victoria gets her JoyJars in the mail she has an instant smile on her face, she loves the surprise toys! To Victoria and her family, NEVER EVER GIVE UP means, that “Giving up is not an option. We have to NEGU for our kids. We know we are not in this alone. Thank you! You’ve helped my daughter get her mind off all the bad happening. The JoyJars are a great distraction…we are forever grateful for everything you’ve done for us.”
